Yesterday 8th April was my elder brother’s birthday…. He is staying in the east coast of West Malaysia and I surely hope that he had a nice and wonderful celebration with his family there.
Sent him a Birthday MMS at 3 am yesterday to surprise him… it has a monkey singing a birthday song – I know I managed to put a smile on his face.
Despite the joyous moment, my dad is still recuperating in hospital due to pneumonia. He gave us a scare when the infection in the lungs triggered a mild heart attack. My father suffered and survived 2 strokes and even the mildest heart attack is deemed very serious given his age.
If my brother is reading my blog, I just want him to know that even though we are not close, I will always love and respect him. Of course, I do not say “mushy” things like this to his face – he will laugh out loud and probably fall off his chair.
May our family be in the protection of Allah swt at all times.
